Eduard Štorch Prize 2019


The annual Eduard Štorch Prize awarded for Ing. Renate Šmidt by the Czech Archaeological Society, was handed over on April 9 at the National Museum.

She was honored for spreading awareness of the importance of archaeological monuments and for active collaboration in organizing events that promote archeology, such as the International Day of Archeology and the Children's University, FF UK.

Renata Šmidtová is a member of the Czech Archaeological Society and is currently involved as a project manager in the organization and implementation of the project “Archeocentrum Čechy - Bavaria, Protect and Share a Common Cultural Space”, with financial support from the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund.
